Hey, I’m Filipe Henz Alencar — a Brazilian multi-artist, writer, illustrator, and 2D animator.

 

My work revolves around storytelling. I love bringing stories to life, whether they take shape through words or visual art.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a Master’s in Art and Technology, which deepened my connection to both visual and narrative arts. Currently, I’m pursuing my PhD in Creative Writing, where I’m finishing my first novel.

 

I’ve also published Sombras Sempre Longas, a short story collection funded by the Criatório grant from Porto City Council, in Portugal. I’ve had short stories published in several anthologies, and I had the opportunity to organize a short story competition that resulted in a collection focused on Brasília.

 

Beyond my academic and literary work, I explore creativity in other forms, from drawing and design to music composition. I play the banjo and drums and have started writing my own songs, blending these creative outlets with my love for philosophy, pop culture, technology, and esoteric subjects like self-knowledge and the occult.
